How to groom your Shiba Inu to look like Donald Trump

Hi everybody! Welcome! My name is Phoenix and this is my Shiba Inu named Kitsu and today we’re going to be talking about Shedding! So the Shiba Inu’s fur is really cool because there are two sets of coats, like the coats I have to wear when I go outside and it’s cold out.

So, the outer coat, that’s red, is long and it’s water proof and it protects her from the wind and water. And then the undercoat is really fluffy and it keeps her warm when it’s cold outside and it’s like goose down.

So you should probably brush your Shiba Inu once a week. However, they do shed their undercoat twice a year. Usually after winter and after summer. And when they do shed their undercoat you should probably brush their undercoat every single day because if you don’t, It will probably get everywhere. And you’ll know when they’re shedding their undercoat because you’ll find little tufts of hair around your house. And sometimes you’ll be able to see them in your Shiba Inu’s fur and then you can just take them out.

This is the tool you’ll want to use to brush your Shiba Inu. It’s called a Furminator. Like it’s a terminator but for your dog’s fur. And it has these little teeth that will get all the loose hair out. I would not brush this too close to her face and ears because it could pull out her whiskers and that could hurt a lot. I would also brush the direction that her hair goes. As you can see, this tool gets out a lot of hair so you’ll probably have to clean the brush frequently. And sometimes the hair can get really staticky. And if you don’t believe me that Kitsu’s fur gets everywhere, just look at my pants.

What are we going to do with all this hair? I know we could make pillows, or maybe stuffed animals. Or even, we could make a better toupee for Donald Trump, who knows? It kind of looks like his hair too, doesn’t it? Actually, me and my grandpa make fly fishing flies out of this stuff. And it works pretty well.
